The holiday season got an early boost in Sparks as police and fire crews came together for a community tradition focused on giving local children a chance to shop for gifts and enjoy a memorable morning.
According to the Sparks Police Department in an online post, Sparks Police teamed up with Sparks Fire Department for Holiday with a Hero, an event that pairs first responders with children for holiday shopping and shared experiences.
The post also thanked the Sparks Police Protective Association for helping make the event possible and noted Target’s continued support each year.
