The Joining Forces campaign is back this month, and local law enforcement agencies are teaming up to focus on pedestrian safety.
From October 13 through October 31, The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division and participating Nevada law enforcement agencies will be reminding pedestrians and drivers to be aware of each other and share the road.
In 2023, 109 pedestrians were killed in pedestrian crashes in Nevada.
During the event, State Troopers will be issuing citations to both pedestrians and drivers violating traffic safety laws.
The Nevada State Highway Patrol is dedicated to lowering the number of fatalities on our roads to zero through promoting safe pedestrian and driver behavior.
