SilverSummit Healthplan and the Boys and Girls Club of Fernley are inviting families to a free community celebration on Wednesday, designed to mix fun, connection, and health resources.
The event, called Spring into Health: A Family Fun Day, runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, 695 E. Main St. in Fernley. It is open to community members of all ages and will feature free food, yard games, and local wellness resources.
Children and families will have the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and take free photos, while a live artist will provide custom airbrushed t-shirts and hats while supplies last. Guests who pre-register are eligible for a special raffle with prizes including bikes with helmets, laptops, and gift cards.
Parents and caregivers can also connect with representatives from SilverSummit Healthplan to learn more about available services that support family health and wellness while children take part in activities.
SilverSummit Healthplan says the event is part of its ongoing effort to improve community wellness by offering preventive care information, supportive services, and opportunities for families to connect.
