To celebrate the first day of fall, people gathered at Bartley Ranch Regional Park for the Harvest Festival.
Some said they will miss the summertime, while others said they are looking forward to the fall.
"I am ready. I am ready for sweaters, hot coffees, pies, stews, soups. That's what I'm excited for. I think we all are - I think we need it. The last year was a little rough with all of the fires and all the crazy stuff happening. We need something to bring us back together, remind us this is a good place to be, Reno is beautiful," said Yazmin Gollos.
During the festival, many families were playing games, taking pictures with their favorite superheroes, and even petting some animals.
Many families say this event was the perfect way to kick off fall because the weather was really nice.
Although it still feels like summer, some people told us they are really looking forward to the temperatures dropping.
"Looking forward to it. I like winter way more than I do summer, just because you can warm up in a blanket and have your hot chocolate and Halloween is coming up," said Tina Kendrick.
Along with this, people are looking forward to all the festivities, such as pumpkin patches and haunted houses.
