The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is participating in this month's Joining Forces Impaired Driver Campaign. It begins Friday February 6 and runs through Sunday February 22.
The campaign will involve highly visible patrols across the state, with the goal of removing impaired drivers from the state's roadways while educating the public about the dangers of driving under the influence.
Funding for the extra patrols is being provided by the Nevada Department of Public Safety's Office of Traffic Safety.
