An investigation is underway after a deadly stabbing in Osino in Elko County on Halloween night.
Deputies say the suspect, Lindsey Zayas and the victim, 72-year-old Wayne Wiese got into a argument over personal property when Wiese allegedly poured a liquid onto Zayas and threatened to light him on fire.
Deputies say Zayas then stabbed Wiese multiple times.
Zayas was found lying in the driveway of the home on Nighthawk Drive. Deputies say, “it is currently unknown why he was lying in the driveway, as he was no apparently injured.”
He later arrested where he now faces charges of open murder and possession of a controlled substance.
