Heavy rain and flooding in Carson City caused a mudslide into the parking lot of the Galaxy Fandango Theaters on S. Curry Street. 

The Carson City Sheriff's Office said the mud is up to 1 to 2 feet in some areas of the parking lot and crews are still working to get the mud cleared. There were also several cars were stranded in the parking lot earlier, but they all made it out safely. There was no other property damage or injuries. 

The Galaxy Fandango Theater was temporarily closed, but has since reopened.Â
