Nevada Highway Patrol is responding to an incident on U.S. 50 near mile marker 4 in Lyon County. It happened just after 12:30 Friday afternoon.
According to Nevada State Police, a man was riding a bicycle towing a trailer when he lost control and crashed.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound #2 lane will remain closed for at least the next hour and emergency crews clear the roadway.
