The Nevada Department of Agriculture has entered into a management agreement with the Reno Rodeo Association for events and facilities at the Nevada State Fairgrounds.
That includes the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center, effective immediately.
Now, individuals and organizations interested in booking events or using the Nevada State Fairgrounds will coordinate directly through the Reno Rodeo Association.
The transition follows the passage of Assembly Bill 333, which returned oversight and management of the Nevada State Fairgrounds to the Nevada Department of Agriculture.
Prior to the transition, the property was operated by the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority under Washoe County’s lease of the property.
For more information about booking events or using the Nevada State Fairgrounds, contact the Reno Rodeo Association at 775-329-3877.
