Sparks Police responded to reports of a man who was outside a business with a gun, reported by a person from inside the business that called the Sparks Police Department.
Police say that when they arrived, the man was inside his car with the gun. Officers then requested that he exit the car.
According to police, the man got out of the car and was arrested without incident.
Initially, a Bearcat was called for, but police say that this is common for reports of a shooting. For this case, the Bearcat never left the station because the incident was over, according to authorities.
