The Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation (NNCCF), a non-profit organization that helps local children and families affected by childhood cancer, is partnering to bring Christmas light shows.
In partnership with The Elves of Wingfield, some Christmas Light Shows will showcase an event featuring photos with Santa on select nights, along with complimentary Coca-Cola sodas, face painting, toy building kits, and a bake sale.
According to the organizers, photos with Santa are available on the dates below for a $15 donation:
- Sunday, Dec. 7th: 12 pm-3pm
- Monday, Dec. 8th: 5pm to 8pm
- Sunday, Dec. 14th: 12pm-3pm
- Monday, Dec. 15th: 5pm to 8pm
- Tuesday, Dec. 16th: 5pm to 8pm
The event will take place every Friday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and will run until December 31.
The Elves of Wingfield Christmas Light Shows are located at 7450 Ambush Circle, Sparks NV 89436.
Organizers also say hot chocolate and visits from the Coca-Cola bear will be available from 7 p.m. through 11 p.m. on select evenings.
According to organizers, "The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation is the only non-profit in the region solely dedicated to helping local children and their families affected by childhood cancer.
Also, according to organizers, "NNCCF’s programs and services include the Family Assistance Fund, Inspire Scholarship program, Hope for the Holidays program, and emotional support through No More Chemo celebrations and family activities."
