Update August 1, 2026:
Spin Cycle Wash and Dry is reopening on August 1st after a fire forced the business to close back in February.
To celebrate, they are offering promotions through the end of September.
Spin Cycle Wash and Dry is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
February 7, 2026:
Reno Fire crews were called to a fire just before 8 p.m. Sunday at the laundromat connected to the Jelly Donut at 1740 S. Virginia Street.
According to fire officials, it started with some rags that were in a closet in the back of the laundromat, but investigators are still looking into how the fire was ignited.
There was no significant damage to the building beyond the interior walls of the closet, and no injuries were reported.
