NV Energy has restored power across Douglas County after an earlier outage affected 26,500+ customers.

More than 5,400 NV Energy customers are currently without power across Douglas County.Â
NV Energy reports that several of the outages started around 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday.Â
At one point, the total number of customers surpassed 26,500.
The cause of the outages remain under investigation and there's no current estimate on restoration.
The Douglas County School District is canceling classes at all schools for the day. DCSD says the outage is centered at the Buckeye station.Â
