One person dead after crash in cold Springs

December 7 update:

A pedestrian died after being hit by a car near White Lake Parkway and Sandpiper Drive.

The crash happened just after 7 P.M. December 6th. 

We're learning impairment is suspected in a deadly crash investigation out of Cold Springs.

According to Reno Police, several pedestrians were crossing White Lake Parkway outside of a marked crosswalk when two of the pedestrians were hit by a car. 

One of the pedestrians hit died at the scene. The other pedestrian took themselves to the hospital, and their condition is unknown. 

Police suspect impairment was a factor in the crash. The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

A car crash that happened on Saturday evening has left one person dead.

The crash happened at White Lake Parkway near Family Dollar in Cold Springs. 

Reno Police say roads could be closed for the next few hours.
