The Reno Fire Department quickly put out a fire in downtown Reno Tuesday night.

It happened in a room on the third floor of the Horseshoe Motel on Lake Street just before 9:30 p.m.

The fire was quickly put out, within three minutes of firefighters arriving according to an RFD spokesperson.

Nobody was injured in the fire, but one person will likely be displaced according to the RFD.

That person was not home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
