UPDATE - OCT 29, 1:30 P.M.
After an investigation, the Nevada Highway Patrol says the five-person crash on I-80 eastbound near Patrick sends one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It started after a 1984 International box truck was traveling eastbound on I-80 in the number two lane.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the driver of the box truck failed to slow down and stop for traffic that was ahead and crashed into the rear of a 2021 Toyota Tacoma.
This initial crash forced the Tacoma to ram into the rear of a Ram 2500 pickup.
Then the Ram crashed into a Honda Accord, and then that car rammed into a Toyota Rav4.
A driver from the Toyota Tacoma was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The Nevada Highway Patrol also says all other drivers had minor injuries.
