Police are investigating a car chase that ended in a crash late Monday night in Reno.
The crash followed an initial traffic stop by the Reno Police Department on Sutro Street, south of the intersection with Oddie Boulevard, involving a black sedan.
Deputies said the driver of the sedan fled the stop and struck another car at the intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Sutro Street.
The victim in the second car has been discharged from the hospital, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect remains hospitalized. Investigators believe impairment may have been a factor in the crash.
