The Reno Fire Department quickly put out a fire that sparked at the Farris Motel on East 4th Street on Thursday night.
Firefighters got the call about the blaze around 9:08 p.m., according to a spokesperson from the Reno Fire Department.
The first unit was on scene two minutes later.
There were no injuries. Two people and a cat were displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
