An off-highway vehicle rollover at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center left a Reno man dead Monday.
Storey County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the crash at about 12:33 p.m. at 1 Superloop Circle, according to the Storey County Sheriff's Office in an online post.
Deputies found three passengers who were not injured and the driver pinned underneath the vehicle. Deputies and paramedics freed the driver and began life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was identified as 23-year-old Gage Carney, of Reno. His next of kin has been notified.
A preliminary investigation found Carney was traveling down an embankment when he encountered an unexpected crevice, causing the vehicle to tip and roll.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the Storey County Sheriff's Office is working with the Nevada State Office of Occupational Safety and Health.
