A Reno man has been convicted of grand larceny and burglary charges after stealing more than 80 key fobs and two trucks from the Corwin Ford dealership.
Reno Police say on the morning of April 6, 2025, they were called to a report of a commercial burglary at the dealership.
Samuel Pace had broken into the business, taking the key fobs and trucks over a two-day period. In one of the trucks, later recovered by police, investigators found various documents connected to a local woman.Â
Officers went to the woman's home and learned she had recently met Pace, and he had offered to let her use a truck to move. The officers then made contact with Pace who admitted to stealing the key fobs and trucks.
Sentencing for Pace is set for April 9th. He faces up to 20 years in prison after being convicted of grand larceny of a motor vehicle, burglary of a business and grand larceny between $5,000 and $25,000.
A co-defendant who was found with a third truck, pled guilty to one count of grand larceny of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to probation.
