The Reno Police Department has made arrests in a crime spree that happened Sunday, August 25 involving several auto burglaries and armed robbery.
Andrew Duckworth (19), Chase Gardner (24) and Angela Johnson (25) were arrested early Sunday morning for robbery with a deadly weapon, vehicle burglary and conspiracy.
The trio allegedly committed several auto burglaries on Sunday night in the early morning hours at the El Dorado and Grand Sierra Resort, as well as armed robberies at the GSR and in the downtown Reno area.
While following up on the information gathered during their investigation, officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle on Willow Street in Reno.
A traffic stop was made, and the three suspects were arrested. During the stop, the officers were also able to locate the gun that was used during the armed robberies.
The gun was reported to have been stolen out of a vehicle from the El Dorado.
