Reno Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened within about two hours of each other, on Mill Street and at Mira Loma Park. 

The first shooting happened on Mill Street near Edison Way around 12:30 a.m. During the investigation, police say a man arrived at a hospital with critical injuries. Police say the suspect remains on the loose in this case. (Case RP25-14252)

Then, about two hours later, officers responded to Mira Loma Park where they say a different man arrived at a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect in this case hasn't been caught. (Case RP25-14254)

Police say the shootings do not appear to be related - and believe there is no ongoing threat to the community. They add the shooting appear to be the result from fights at their separate locations rather than random acts of violence. 

The investigations are ongoing.
