The Reno Police Department Traffic Division issued 100 tickets and 24 warnings as part of pedestrian safety operations in January.
The operations were paid for with help from a grant provided by the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety, according to a release from the RPD.
Eight officers worked on the operation either within designated Pedestrian Safety Zones in the downtown area or areas of high pedestrian traffic.
Efforts were focused on drivers and pedestrians who were violating laws that enhance pedestrian safety.
