MARCH 13 UPDATE:

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office has provided an update on the status of multiple people, including two deputies, who were injured in a shooting on Thursday.

The suspect and both deputies are still in the hospital, according to a post from the Sheriff's Office on Facebook. All of them are stable, the post said.

A PG&E contractor injured in the incident was released from the hospital on Thursday.

Investigators have completed collecting evidence and processing the scene of the shooting.

The investigation is still underway.

Two El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies have been hospitalized after being shot in Camino Thursday.

Deputies responded to a home on Mountain View Drive just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday after a Pacific Gas and Electric crew reported they were shot at.

A shooting occurred after deputies arrived. Two deputies and the suspect were hit with gunfire, a PG&E worker was also injured.

The deputies and the suspect are now in the hospital, their conditions have not been released.
