The Veterans Guest House has announced the launch of a hospice home for terminally ill veterans.
The Veterans Hospice Home was made possible by donations and community support. The 5,170 square foot home will offer private bedrooms, specialized equipment, and ADA-compliant spaces. The non-profit will open its doors for its first resident next June with plans to accommodate up to six veterans by 2026.
The Veterans Hospice Home will give veterans:
* Choice of Provider: Veterans will enroll with their preferred hospice provider, ensuring they receive the medical attention they need.
* Personalized Comfort: The home will be free of charge, giving veterans financial relief and quality time together with loved ones.
* Cost-Free Care: Veterans will have access to 24/7 care, supported by a team of caregivers and volunteers who are committed to honoring their service.
Veterans Guest House is seeking both donations and volunteers to launch this new initiative. Individuals can learn more about by contacting Patrice Klaich at patrice@veteransguesthouse.org or calling (775) 324 - 6958, ext. 14.
