Nevadans interested in getting a closer look at how elections are administered can apply to serve as paid election observers during the 2026 general election.
The Nevada Election Observation Network, a nonpartisan election observation effort, is recruiting people to watch and document how polling places and election facilities across the state administer voting.
Observers will receive training and a stipend for their work. They may be deployed during early voting, Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and post-election processes such as ballot processing and canvassing.
Observer positions are still available in Lander, Pershing, and Humboldt counties.
