The Reno-Sparks Tribal Health Center and Reno-Sparks Indian Colony is holding a drive-thru flu vaccination clinic for tribal members on Wednesday.
The 8th annual "Take Your Best Shot" clinic is open from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Reno-Sparks Tribal Health Center at 1715 Kuenzli Street in Reno.
Flu shots are available for all ages, and is open to all federally recognized tribal members living in Washoe County.
If you're a tribal member from a federally recognized tribe but have not registered at the RSTHC as a patient, staff will be able to assist you in getting registered.
Transportation is available to RSTHC registered patients by calling (775) 329-5162 ext. 7714.
Getting vaccinated against influenza (flu) is especially important for American Indians and Alaska Natives, who are at higher risk for complications from the flu.
