Reno police responded to a report of shots fired at a downtown property on Monday morning.
The call came in around 9:40 a.m. at 255 West 5th Street, with multiple people reporting gunfire.
Officers found two people leaving a room where the shots were reported and detained them. The door used by the people showed multiple bullet strikes.
Police then entered the room to check for anyone else inside and to confirm that no one had been injured. No injuries were reported.
Reno police requested assistance from the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, the Crime Gun Intelligence Team, and Gang Detectives. They obtained a search warrant for the room, where officers found multiple guns, including a gun without a serial number, known as a “ghost gun.”
Later that afternoon, police located a third person involved in the incident and arrested them.
Police said evidence collected from the room and the parking lot indicated an exchange of gunfire between multiple people stemming from a property dispute.
The people arrested include:
Brian Collor, 24, charged with discharge of a firearm within a structure, discharge of a firearm where a person may be endangered, and discharge of a firearm without regard for a person’s safety
