Six Mile Canyon Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. on September 15 and 16 for road striping.
According to the Storey County Sheriff's Office in an online post, drivers heading to Virginia City should use an alternate route while the road is closed.
The closure is scheduled during daytime hours on both days.
Suggested routes include State Route 341 and State Route 342.
