Starting on Thursday, travelers flying from Reno to Austin, Texas, can catch a direct flight.
Southwest Airlines celebrated its new nonstop flights to Austin at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Thursday.
Passengers were greeted at the gate with live music, treats, and more.
Direct flights to Austin will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The hope is to have more frequent flights during the summer months.
