An investigation is underway after a kitchen fire at Popeyes restaurant on Big Fish Drive in Sparks. 

Crews arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the rear of the building, around noon on Thursday. 

Fire crews say the fire was quickly brought under control.

No injuries were reported. 

Fire crews tell us the health department is now on its way to inspect the site before it can reopen.Â
