A man has been convicted on child abuse charges against his own daughter in Sparks.
The investigation led to the arrest of the father, Gavin McKinney, who admitted to the abuse during an interview with the police.
Both the three-year-old and her two-month-old sister were removed from the home.
McKinney has been sentenced to 90 days in the Washoe County Jail, suspended for one year on the conditions that he complete an anger management course and obey all laws.
