Super Bowl LX celebrations in downtown - Photo

The Seahawks defeated the Patriots 29-13 to win Super Bowl LX on Sunday. While the teams played in Santa Clara, hundreds of people packed the casinos downtown for watch parties and celebrations.

Caesars Entertainment said they saw more turnout this year compared to years past.

"It's a little bit more this year. The weather's been great. Everybody can get here. So, the place is packed and we're loving the atmosphere right now," said Tony Marini, Vice President of Caesars Entertainment Northern Nevada.

Caesars hosted celebrations and watch parties across the Circus Circus, Silver Legacy, and Eldorado.

One fan said he came all the way down from Prineville, Oregon with his wife to celebrate her 60th birthday, and figured they'd catch the big game while they were in town.

Before the game, Gary Burkhart said "I think Seattle is going to win, hopefully by more than four and a half points, because I bet on that."

While the action was underway, we spoke to a few more fans who said they were rooting for the eventual champions. These fans either grew up with a love for the Seahawks, placed a bet on them, or just wanted to see New England lose.

"I got several tickets," said Joe Montoya, who's from our area. "I have more on the Seahawks than I do the Patriots. So, no matter what, I'm gonna win my money."

I think the Seahawks are going to walk away with it. That's my gut instinct," said Sergio Gonzalez, from Lodi, California.

"We're actually rooting for the Seahawks because we don't want the Patriots to get seven [championships]. Because only the Steelers are going to get seven. Even if it's when Rodgers or without Rodgers," said LP Chan while showing off his Steelers jersey.

Marini said the celebrations will continue into Monday morning.

A lot of fans say the celebration brought good vibes this weekend.
