UPDATE - MAY 7: 

A suspect has been arrested following a fatal altercation in Sun Valley last month.

As part of the ongoing investigation, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives conducted further interviews and follow-up in this case.

Based on their findings, Nathan Krall was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility.

Krall is facing a charge of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon.

Initial investigative results suggest that an edged weapon may have been involved in the incident.

Authorities say the investigation remains active.

The original call came in on April 28, around 10:30 p.m., when deputies responded to a home on W. Leonesio Drive in Sun Valley following a report of a physical fight.

At the scene, deputies confirmed that a physical fight had taken place.

Deputies say two people were taken to local hospitals for medical treatment.

One of them later died from their injuries.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public, and say that additional information will be released as it becomes available.

An investigation is underway after a fight turned deadly in Sun Valley late Monday night.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on Leonesio Drive off Clear Acre Lane.

Deputies say two people were transported to a nearby hospital - one person later died.

Deputies say there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
