6:35 P.M. UPDATE:

A suspect has been identified and arrested in a shooting at the Ace Motor Lodge on Wednesday.

Officers were able to identify the suspect in the shooting as 25-year-old Jayla Moore according to a release from the Reno Police Department.

Moore had fled the scene before officers arrived at the motor lodge, but officers were able to convince her to return and she was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon and booked into the Washoe County Jail.

The victim of the shooting is at the hospital receiving treatment and there is no outstanding threat to the public.

Reno Police are investigating a shooting that happened at the Ace Motor Lodge on Wednesday. 

The incident happened around noon near the lodge, which is located near North Sierra and West 2nd Streets. 

Police say the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. We don't know the condition. 

Police say it's an isolated incident and they are still looking for the suspect.
