A Thursday morning house fire in Douglas County has left three residents displaced.

It happened in the area of Centerville Lane and Foothill Road just before 10 a.m., according to a Facebook post from the East Fork Fire Protection District.

Firefighters upgraded the response to the fire due to the risk of the fire spreading to the surrounding wildland, but were able to keep the fire contained to the home.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, and a cat was rescued from the home.

The Red Cross is helping the residents who were displaced by the fire.
