The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County will be paving the new northbound lane on South Virginia Street this weekend.
With partner Q&D Construction, they will be paving the northbound lane between Longley Lane and Patriot Boulevard starting this Sunday, October 6.
The northbound off-ramp for exit 29 will be closed nightly from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
Detours will be set up to Neil Road and Meadowood Mall Way.
Traffic shifts will occur, but at least one lane on South Virginia in each direction will be available during construction.
