Traffic is backed up on I-80 eastbound near the Wells Avenue on-ramp during the morning commute as emergency vehicles and several vehicles are at the scene of an incident.

The incident was reported just past the Wells Avenue on-ramp. Nevada Department of Transportation traffic cameras show emergency vehicles at the scene, but the nature of the incident was not immediately known.

Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays and consider alternate routes while the situation develops.
