Update (10/20, 4:23 p.m.):

One of our 2 News Nevada staffers got a sneak peek of the new Twin Peaks Restaurant on Saturday during the soft opening and spoke with Director of Operations Eric Hamilton.

Regarding the choice to bring the restaurant to the area, Hamilton said, "We love Reno - it's an incredible city. We were so excited to bring an amazing new concept up to the city here. [We] have Twin Peaks all over the country, expanding to new markets, and just felt it was well overdue for Reno to get a Twin Peaks. We're so exited to be opening up our lodge here."

The location boasts a 'Man Cave' - a private dining room that is available for private parties and events. The new space also includes a cigar bar and a patio with heaters and shades for all-weather dining.

"We're expecting to be very busy. We're going to be opening this Monday, the 21st. We'll have Monday Night Football; all the games on. We'll have playoff baseball. We have gaming at the bar and over 85 TVs," says Hamilton. "We're expecting a great turnout in the evening when we open at 5 o'clock. Just a lot of excited people to enjoy Twin Peaks... our scratch kitchen - we can't wait!"

Twin Peaks will be open 5:00 p.m - 12:00 a.m. most nights, and until 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
