Two people have been hospitalized after a car hit a pedestrian in downtown Reno on Thursday afternoon, before also hitting the Eldorado Casino.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. in the area of Virginia and 3rd Streets near the Reno Arch and Eldorado, according to a spokesperson for the Reno Police Department.
Both the pedestrian and the driver of the car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The car also hit the southeast corner of the Eldorado, causing some damage to the building.
Impairment is not suspected as a factor in the crash.
Investigators are working to determine if the driver had a medical episode or if the car had a mechanical issue that might have led to the crash.
