Two people are dead after an early morning wrong-way crash on I-80 east of Sparks.
The incident happened just before 5:30 a.m. Monday west of Mustang.
Nevada State Police say a black Honda sedan was heading east near Mustang when the car crossed over into the oncoming lane and kept going while at the same time a silver Nissan hatchback and silver Honda sedan were heading west.
NSP says the black Honda hit the front of the Nissan killing the driver - and also hit the other Honda which was behind the Nissan avoiding the crash veering off the road into the desert.
NSP says the wrong-way driver also died on scene.
The silver Honda driver was not hurt.
Authorities haven't yet released the names of the people involved.
