UPDATE NOV. 15:

The Regional Gang Unit has identified two people as suspects in the shooting in Midtown during the month of June.

The suspects were identified as 25-year-old Angel Camargo and 31-year-old Erik Duran, located in Reno.

On November 14th, 2025, both Duran and Camargo were arrested for Attempted Murder with the use of a Deadly Weapon, Battery with a Deadly Weapon resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm, and Discharging a Firearm where others may be endangered, according to the Reno Police Department.

Multiple suspects have now been arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this summer that left two men injured.

UPDATE:

The Reno Police Department said two men with gunshot wounds are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital.

They say there is no threat to the public.

The Reno Police Department’s Forensic Investigation Team (FIT) responded to help officers process the scene.

Reno Police are investigating a shooting in Midtown.

They say it happened at 2 a.m. Sunday morning on South Virginia Street and Cheney Street.

No other details have been released at this time.
