The University of Nevada, Reno Extension announces that they are offering an online Home Horticulture Certificate Program, starting August 7.
The program runs online from August 7 until October 6, and is ideal for anyone wanting to build their gardening skills here in Nevada.
The course is also a prerequisite for anyone in the area interested in becoming a certified Nevada Master Gardener.
A variety of topics are covered as part of the program, including soils, composting, native plants, small fruits, vegetables and pest management.
If you'd like to sign up, you can register online before July 28, at a cost of $275.
