The Virginia Street Bridge will be closed for the Dinner on the Bridge event beginning at 8 a.m. on October 4.
Vehicles will not be able to enter beginning at Mill Street.
Sierra Foundations is organizing a dinner where approximately 200 community leaders will gather for a fundraiser.
Organizers say it will be an evening of dining and live performances staged on the bridge.
The proceeds go towards Sierra Arts Foundation's mission to promote art and artists across northern Nevada.
