More than 10,000 mail ballots still need to be processed, according to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters office.
In its latest update, the registrar says 800 mail ballots are currently being signature verified, 3,500 mail ballots are being sorted and batched and 6,200 mail ballots are awaiting scanning.
The turnout for Washoe County in the 2026 Primary Election currently sits at 26.7%.
