The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is welcoming a new member to their K9 unit.
Maggie is a short-haired pointer from the Netherlands. She has one job, the Sheriff's Office says, sniffing out explosives.
After going through an intensive process to prepare her handler and the K9 unit to work cohesively together, Maggie was paired with Deputy Smith, who has worked with the Sheriff's Office for the last two years.
