According to a Facebook post on Wild Island's official page, it was originally scheduled to open last week, but due to weather, the waterpark’s opening was postponed.
However, a new Facebook update from the park confirms the season is now set to begin Memorial Day weekend, although, weather permitting, it appears with our forecasted high temperatures and waterpark-friendly weather that Mother Nature is finally cooperating.
In the Facebook post, Wild Island announced that 2025 season pass sales have reopened ahead of schedule. “We originally planned to hold off on sales of our remaining 2025 Season Passes until our new kids’ zone, Tiny Tides, was complete, but with the summer excitement building, we’ve decided to reopen them early!
While construction is still ongoing, we know you’re ready to make a splash, so grab your 2025 Season Pass before they sell out.”
Season passes are available daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Season Pass Office or online at wildisland.com (excluding military, three and under, and senior 60+ passes, which must be purchased in person).
The post says that the park will be closed on Wednesday, May 21, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. as its staff prepares for the holiday weekend.
The park also reminded guests to plan ahead, saying that they are expecting to be busy this opening holiday weekend. To avoid long lines, guests should consider picking up their season passes ahead of time.
