Washoe Tribe Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred on Shoshone Street in Carson City.

According to a post on Facebook, the stabbing happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

According to officials, a suspect is in custody, and the victim is in stable condition. 

Their names have not been released.

Officers say there is no present danger to the community.
