Wild Island

The start of summer at Wild Island means packed wave pools, water slides, and families returning for a long-standing northern Nevada tradition, but before the gates open for the holiday weekend, the waterpark is reminding guests that safety rules will be strictly enforced throughout the season.

According to Wild Island in an online post, the park shared reminders about safety policies, guest expectations, and age requirements ahead of Memorial Day weekend and the official start of the 2026 waterpark season.

The park said families and friends have spent more than 37 years making summer memories at Wild Island and thanked guests for continuing the tradition.

Wild Island also asked guests to review its Zero Tolerance Policy along with its full list of rules and guidelines (see below), which the park said will be strictly enforced throughout the season.

The park reminded parents and guardians that guests must be at least 14 years old to visit the waterpark without a parent or guardian.

“We can’t wait to make more summer memories with you all season long.”
