A wildfire is burning near U.S. 395 and the Hallelujah Junction Wildlife area, just across the Nevada-California border.
CAL FIRE says the Junction 2 Fire started just before 9 p.m. Sunday near Evans Ranch Road and Highway 395 near the Hallelujah Junction Wildlife Area.
It's currently 270-acres in size and is 25% contained.
There are no evacuations at this time, but there is heavy smoke in the area so avoid the area or stay indoors as much as possible.
The cause remains under investigation.
